After a wonderful Harvest Service, there followed a most enjoyable Harvest Supper on 30th September at the Village Hall.
We sat at attractively decorated tables. With the encouragement of our Rector, we found ourselves singing for our supper!
As usual the Mother’s Union provided us with excellent meal of ham and a wide choice of salads, followed by some delicious apple pie. We should like to thank all those involved.
Ken Buckland conducted a lively auction, the proceeds of which were divided between Christian Aid and Mother’s Union.
Thanks are due to Ken and also Eric and Margaret Miller for transporting all the produce.
