Welcome to St Peter’s
Being a Christian can be described as making friends with Jesus. This can take a lifetime, but it is more likely to happen when we start in childhood. You can help your child by taking advantage of the help available at St Peter’s.
You will receive a warm welcome and help in making that friendship possible for your child.
May God bless you as you do your best in nurturing your child in the Christian faith.
Paul Wilkinson (Rector)
Junior Church at the 10am Parish Service
For part of the service the children go over to the Cottages where they enjoy a range of faith related activities. We have 2 groups: Angel Fish for 1-6yrs and Squids for 6+. They return to the church for the last part of the service. A family member may accompany their child if they wish.
All Age Services
On special Sundays such as Mothering Sunday, Easter and Harvest the children remain in church and are encouraged to take an active part in the service.
Once a term families meet in church for an informal hour, for worship, fun and food. The children really enjoy this time as it gives them an opportunity to make full use of our wonderful church building.
For more information on Junior Church, please contact Hermione Mason through the Parish Office.
