The bluetits from our nesting box have flown away now, but they featured on regional television and local radio! Shefali Oza, from BBC 'Midlands Today', visited the School and talked to three children and Mr. Dean about what they had learned from observing the nest. The interview was broadcast on their early evening programme and BBC Radio Gloucestershire also featured the story.

As I write this, Year 6 children are looking forward to the Year 6 service in the Cathedral and their residential trip to the Isle of Wight in the last week of June. Many of the other classes are enjoying visits to places of interest. As we approach the end of the school year there are many events still to come in July - next year's Reception children visit the school, and the Year 6 children have taster days at their various secondary schools. There will be concerts early in July and looking further ahead there will be an informal open evening for the children and their parents and the Leavers' Service at the end of term - more about all these events in next month's magazine.
FOLPS are preparing for the Summer Fair on 7th July at the School. This is always one of the highlights of the year. We look forward to seeing many of our friends there for what is always a successful and happy occasion - look out for notices and flyers with details nearer the time.
